Role Overview
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Package: £80,000 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a growing team of software and digital developers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
- Drive the adoption of AI tools across the software development lifecycle, ensuring delivery speed, quality, and business value are maximised.
- Own the end-to-end delivery process—from gathering requirements to releasing new features—while setting and maintaining high engineering standards.
- Manage daily IT operations, ensuring reliable performance of applications and Azure cloud services, along with incident management and service improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers, holding them to account and defining clear service boundaries to optimise costs and performance.

Main Skills Needed
- Proven experience managing and growing software development teams, particularly in a Microsoft environment.
- Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices, including agile, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and applying them within software development processes.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including hosting, security, and cost management.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage technical teams, stakeholders, and suppliers confidently.
