Engineering Manager - £110k base salary + benefits - 2 days a week office based

The role
They're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of their engineering teams. You'll champion agile practices, drive high-quality delivery, and keep technical operations running smoothly — partnering closely with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering to help your team do their best work for our members.

What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing engineering team
- Own sprint planning, retrospectives, and incident response alongside Product and Design
- Champion operational excellence and a quality-first mindset
- Guide technical design decisions in line with our architecture, while encouraging fresh thinking
- Represent your team with stakeholders and connect their work to the bigger picture
What you'll bring
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, having successfully led teams of four or more
- A strong track record of coaching, one-to-ones, and feedback that helps people grow
- Deep experience with agile ceremonies and practices
- Hands-on technical credibility with AWS and TypeScript
- A collaborative, adaptable approach to changing priorities
