ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development of our products across the Dynamics ecosystem and of our non-Dynamics platform, including My Elite and future customer-facing digital products.
This role combines engineering leadership, software architecture and people leadership. You will be responsible for building a high-performing development team, providing technical direction, and ensuring that our platforms are secure, scalable, resilient and commercially aligned. You’ll work closely with our Chief Architect & Product Managers to embed and scale repeatable engineering practices and delivery processes across all of our technical products and services.
Success in this role is measured by the capability of the team you build, the technical standards you establish, and the predictable delivery of high quality, scalable and secure customer value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering Leadership:
- Lead, coach and mentor software engineers across the Dynamics and app product estate.
- Create a culture of quality, ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and career development of engineers.
- Foster engineering excellence through coaching, code reviews and technical leadership.
Architecture & Technical Direction:
- Work with the Chief Architect to define and maintain the target architecture for My Elite and future digital platforms.
- Establish architectural principles, design standards and technical guardrails.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with business objectives.
- Guide major technical decisions and architectural reviews.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
