Job Title: Engineering Manager | Location: Glasgow

As our next Engineering Manager, you’ll be required to be assertive and determined to implement positive change, whilst being confident and comfortable making difficult decisions leading the engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strategic thought process to aid the growth and development of the Engineering team.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a proven leader capable of coaching and mentoring the existing team. You’ll be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary engineering team as well as planning, designing, and overseeing engineering projects, and ensuring the factory is operational with a hands-on approach.

In this role, you will need to maximize productivity within the factory and the team, constantly being tested in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in leading an engineering department in a Food/ FMCG/ manufacturing/factory environment
  • Driving reliability and good processes
  • Maintenance strategy in conjunction with tactical investment
