Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join a leading company in the life sciences sector based in the Surrey area. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to oversee facilities maintenance and ensure the seamless operation of production facilities critical to radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining equipment and facilities essential for the synthesis and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals, including 18Fluorine production. This role provides a dynamic environment where your technical expertise will directly contribute to operational success and compliance.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Engineering Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities meet operational, quality, and safety standards.
  • Uphold and maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • As the Engineering Manager, you will lead initiatives to optimise maintenance processes and support continuous improvement efforts.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Engineering Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A relevant degree in an engineering discipline or a related field.
  • Proven industry experience in site maintenance, facilities management, or operations within a regulated environment.
  • Practical experience with preventative maintenance schedules and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
