A global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a Engineering Manager SME specialising in powder and solids technologies, to join its Manufacturing Network.

Role:

  • Act as key technical expert to manufacturing sites on equipment and process performance
  • Advise on formulation, blending, compression, coating and packaging
  • Lead technical evaluations for capital projects, product launches and technology assessments
  • Coordinate capital project governance and act as lead vendor contact
  • Mentor and coach engineers across the network

Candidate:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years in small molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Direct experience with powder and solids technologies (blending, compression, coating, granulation)
  • Proven technical leadership, able to influence across sites
  • GMP experience essential
  • Animal health background a plus, not a requirement
  • Based from a Liverpool hub, hybrid site presence with regular travel to European and international sites
