Role Overview
We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong hands-on mobile engineering background and proven experience leading mobile teams. The ideal candidate should combine iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin development with technical leadership, people management, and end-to-end delivery.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin development
- Production mobile application development
- Experience launching apps through Apple App Store / Google Play Store
- Mobile architecture & technical design
- People leadership & team management
- Experience leading 10–20+ engineers preferred

- Strong communication & decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing mobile engineering teams.
- Remain hands-on and contribute to production-quality mobile code.
- Drive mobile architecture and technical engineering decisions.
- Lead delivery of complex mobile products from development through production.
- Manage roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and delivery across multiple teams.
- Support engineers across different levels of seniority through mentoring and development.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, business, and senior stakeholders.
- Drive engineering best practices around testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and reliability.
- Help resolve technical ambiguity and make effective engineering decisions.

Preferred Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Android.
- Multiple mobile applications launched into production.
- Large-scale product delivery within complex organisations.
- Modern mobile engineering practices and production reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
