🎯 The Role

Team Environment and Collaboration Style

  • You report to the Director of Engineering and work closely with other Engineering Managers to ensure the alignment of practices and the well-being of the Software Engineering Team globally.
  • You work closely with Product Management, and Staff Engineers to be able to plan correctly and ensure the correct pace of your software team.
  • You must mentor and guide your team in their career path and shine at their most at Filigran.

🧬 Profile We’re Looking For

Key Qualifications, Skills, and Mindset

  • 3+ years of experience in team management, bonus if it’s in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment.
  • Previous experience working with AI tools is not required. However, a strong willingness to embrace AI and use it as part of your day-to-day work is essential.
  • Strong technical background with extensive experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in Java/Spring and React (experience with Rust is also a plus).
  • Proven capability of working with different stakeholders and good time management.
  • Autonomy, ownership, and team spirit.
