Engineering Manager - Leicester based - £110k base salary + benefits

The role

They're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of their engineering teams. You'll champion agile practices, drive high-quality delivery, and keep technical operations running smoothly — partnering closely with Product, Design and Platform Engineering to help your team do their best work for our members.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing engineering team
  • Own sprint planning, retrospectives and incident response alongside Product and Design
  • Champion operational excellence and a quality-first mindset
  • Guide technical design decisions in line with our architecture, while encouraging fresh thinking
  • Represent your team with stakeholders and connect their work to the bigger picture

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, having successfully led teams of four or more
  • A strong track record of coaching, one-to-ones and feedback that helps people grow
  • Deep experience with agile ceremonies and practices
  • Hands-on technical credibility with AWS and TypeScript
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach to changing priorities
