To ensure all engineering works are delivered to the highest standards within the branch
Support the engineering team when required. As direct reports a close working relationship with the service Co-Ordinator and the Engineering Supervisor will be required as well as the other members of the engineering team. Good organisational skills will be required along with good PC systems knowledge. The ability to read and understand service sheets and prioritise the outputs required from them to ensure timely quotes or problems are raised with the clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure that small works are organised, managed and delivered successfully within client agreed timelines in conjunction with Service Co-Ordinator
- Ensuring correct skills sets are advised to Service Co-ordinator for completion of all works
- To work to processes and procedures as specified / agreed per company workflows alongside the Service Co-Ordinator
- Act as key point of contact for engineering workforce and subcontractors on technical issues as and when required
- To work with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure communication between service team and engineering team flows and correct information on works is communicated and discussed where appropriate
- Ensure company H&S policies are always adhered too by engineering team and failures actioned in an appropriate time frame
- Ensure maximum utilisation and management of the engineering team during their working day, week and month.
- To review the training needs and requirements of the engineering team in conjunction with the Service Co-ordinator & Workshop Supervisor, ensuring all technicians are qualified to the appropriate standards. Updates should be passed to the Compliance Manager for skills matrix update review

- Qualified to HNC level or minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Computer literate in various Microsoft packages and company operated systems
- Self-driven and focused individual with the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proactive/problem solver
- Excellent time management skills
- Capable of multi -tasking
- Effective engineer tasking/management key to this role
