Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery across major projects on several long-term frameworks. The role sits within a well-established UK infrastructure contractor known for its strong engineering culture, commitment to professional development and consistent delivery of challenging projects. This position offers long-term programme security, genuine technical ownership and clear progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design delivery across the full project lifecycle
- Champion high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all engineering activities
- Support the development and assurance of temporary works solutions
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, designers, project teams and supply chain partners
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and ensure construction information is accurate, complete and aligned with programme requirements
- Coordinate materials, plant and technical resources to support efficient delivery
- Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements and key project documentation
- Ensure quality standards are met through effective inspection, testing and site verification

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership
- Strong Engineering Management capability with the ability to lead, guide and support diverse technical teams
- Adaptable, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
