About the Role

Marid is looking for an Engineering Manager to own the execution of our engineering roadmap in Riyadh. You'll lead our engineering team's day-to-day delivery, manage our technology vendor relationship, and be accountable for turning our technical priorities into shipped, working software. You'll work closely with Marid's leadership on strategic direction, and be the one who makes it real.

About Marid

Marid is building an AI-powered open banking credit card analysis platform for the GCC region. Our platform helps consumers and financial institutions gain deeper, more intelligent visibility into credit card usage, spending behaviour, and financial health, powered by open banking data and advanced analytics.

We operate at the forefront of Saudi Arabia's rapidly evolving open banking landscape, aligned with SAMA's Open Banking Framework and Vision 2030's financial sector transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

As our Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Own the day-to-day execution of our engineering team, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage our technology vendor relationship, holding partners accountable for deliverables and resolving issues quickly.
  • Translate Marid's technical roadmap into clear sprint plans, delivery milestones, and execution priorities.
  • Establish and run code review, QA, and documentation processes that keep engineering quality consistent.
  • Spot delivery and technical risks early and drive them to resolution before they affect the roadmap.
  • Help build Marid's permanent engineering team: define roles, assess candidates, and shape the hiring plan as we scale.
  • Be the go-to person for internal stakeholders on delivery status, blockers, and what's shipping next.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
