This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across production, engineering, and technical support functions. You will support the wider team with the maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of production processes, equipment, and quality standards. You will gain broad exposure to plastic manufacturing operations.

What you'll do at work:

  • Assist with monitoring production processes to ensure output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Carry out routine inspections, testing, and basic troubleshooting under supervision
  • Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Assist with the set-up and changeover of production equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, production, and quality data
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering colleagues
