Education required: Bachelor or Master Degree — Engineering: Automation, Robotics, Controls & Systems, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Robotics Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field with modules in automation, robotics, systems, software and/or cybersecurity
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Other requirements: Graduation by August 2027

On our two-year Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme, you’ll apply your scientific, engineering or digital knowledge to real manufacturing challenges while developing through rotations, training and mentoring.
What You’ll Experience:
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Spend time at your home site, working on cross-functional projects and rotations to deepen your expertise and knowledge of the business.
- Kaizen Assignment: A short-term breadth assignment, which could include global-focused opportunities, to expand your skills and experience beyond your home site.

What will you do?
- Engineering Excellence: Design, execute, and validate engineering projects while adhering to industry-leading standards and regulations.
- Project Management: Manage the lifecycle of new equipment, from design to installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration into operations, working with suppliers.
- Equipment Reliability: Enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of manufacturing equipment & utilities through predictive maintenance and lifecycle management.
- Smart Manufacturing Innovation: Drive efficiency and innovation using AI and digital transformation technologies as part of our digital transformation journey.
- Automation Expertise: Define and implement improvements, upgrade systems, and work with control systems and robotics technologies to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Digital & Data Expertise: Use data-driven approaches & data visualization techniques to monitor processes, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve decision making & operational efficiencies.
- Asset Management: Utilize techniques e.g. condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance, for optimal equipment performance.
- Problem-Solving: Develop analytical and advanced problem-solving skills (e.g., DMAIC/Six Sigma) to tackle complex challenges to improve processes and drive cross functional collaboration.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to energy management and sustainability projects, supporting GSK’s Net Carbon Zero mission.
What skills are we looking for?
- Technical Aptitude: Interest in engineering and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and willingness to learn how the work supports patients.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A focus on growth, innovation, and process optimization, using data to make decisions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Explains information clearly, listens to others and adapts communication for the audience.
- Ownership and Support: Takes ownership of agreed tasks, asks questions and seeks support when needed.
- Attention to Detail: Works accurately using agreed checks and applies structured problem-solving methods.
- Adaptability: Responds constructively when priorities change and seeks support or clarification when needed.
