Elekta is recruiting for the role of Engineering & Operations Manager – IntelliMax. Engineering & Operations Manager for IntelliMax, leading the teams that develop and operate Elekta’s connected device and IoT platform. The role combines people leadership and technical direction to support reliable, secure and high-performing services.

What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organisation across software, test, DevOps, platform and operations.
- Drive new platform capabilities while maintaining the stability and availability of production services.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to deliver business objectives.
- Support IntelliMax through technology modernisation, operational excellence and scalable engineering practices.
- Champion Agile and DevOps ways of working to improve delivery, quality and efficiency.
- Ensure software quality, security, compliance and operational resilience across the platform.
- Contribute to strategic technology and product roadmaps.

What they’re looking for
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams in a software, cloud, platform or technology environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments and driving high-performing, collaborative teams.
- A strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud technologies, microservices and containerisation.
- Proven ability to improve engineering processes, increase operational maturity and drive continuous improvement across teams and platforms.
- Hands-on technical background with experience in software development or platform engineering.
- A passion for coaching, mentoring and developing others while fostering a team-first culture and delivering operational excellence.
