What You’ll Do At Elekta
As Engineering & Operations Manager for IntelliMax, you will lead the teams responsible for developing and operating Elekta's connected device and IoT platform. This platform plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers worldwide by enabling predictive maintenance, secure remote connectivity, and product insights across Elekta's product portfolio.

You will provide both people leadership and technical direction, helping teams deliver innovative solutions while ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of a business-critical platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organisation comprising Software, Test, DevOps, Platform, and Operations professionals.
- Drive the delivery of new platform capabilities while ensuring the stability and availability of production services.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams to deliver business objectives.
- Support the evolution of Elekta's IntelliMax platform through technology modernisation, operational excellence, and scalable engineering practices.
- Champion Agile and DevOps ways of working, helping teams continuously improve delivery, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure software quality, security, compliance, and operational resilience across the platform.
- Contribute to strategic technology and product roadmaps that support Elekta's long-term vision.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams within a software, cloud, platform, or technology environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments and driving high-performing, collaborative teams.
- A strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud technologies, microservices, and containerisation.
- Proven ability to improve engineering processes, increase operational maturity, and drive continuous improvement across teams and platforms.
- Hands-on technical background with experience in software development or platform engineering.
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others while fostering a team-first culture and delivering operational excellence.
