WERE RECRUITING FOR AN EXPANDING ENGINEERING TEAM

We are recruiting for three permanent engineering roles at a major manufacturing site near to Sleaford:

  • Electrical Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Site Services Engineer

These are growth roles created through continued site investment and expansion. This is a strong opportunity for engineers who want secure, hands-on work, modern industrial equipment and the chance to make a visible impact on plant reliability and performance. Which role suits you?

Electrical Engineer

You will work across:

  • Single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
  • PLC-controlled machinery and SCADA systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response
  • Electrical fault finding, repairs and equipment improvements

You will need an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification. Experience within manufacturing, automated machinery, PLC fault finding or SCADA would be advantageous.

Mechanical Engineer

You will work across:

  • Mechanical drive systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Pumps, bearings, gearboxes and conveyors
  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Machinery fault finding, servicing and equipment improvements

You will need an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent mechanical qualification and previous experience within manufacturing or industrial maintenance.

Site Services Engineer

You will work across:

  • Steam boilers and industrial refrigeration
  • Compressed air, heating and water systems
  • Effluent treatment, pumps and fluid-transfer systems
  • Pipework, utilities maintenance and preventative maintenance

You will need an engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Experience with boiler houses, ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, effluent treatment or industrial utilities would be particularly valuable.

What we're looking for

Across all three roles, we are looking for engineers who can:

  • Fault-find and solve problems quickly
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance
  • Work safely and independently
  • Improve equipment reliability
  • Respond effectively to breakdowns
  • Work well within a busy engineering team

Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, process engineering or another fast-paced production environment would be beneficial.
