Role: Engineering Planning & Stores Co-Ordinator

As Engineering Planning & Stores Co-Ordinator you are responsible for the development and drive of the Engineering planning strategy for the Worsley site. Working hours are 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday. You will be expected to manage and support the workload of your team to meet the day to day engineering tasks and activities to ensure line performance is at its maximum.

You will need the skills and experience to develop the engineering CMMS system to its full potential using the team to deliver results to support the business.

Role Duties

  • Management of the engineering planning to ensure the PPM schedule is up to date and Maintenance planning is effective and standardized at Worsley.
  • Deliver and manage full utilization of the engineering CMMS system.
  • Full work order detail and feedback on closed work.
  • Spare part lists per asset / work order.
  • Full asset list to component level.
  • Maintenance priorities.
  • Ensure Engineering Maintenance plans are fully communicated to key stakeholders across site.
  • Develop and implement part staging routine coaching the stores person and planner to lead.
  • Support the team with early equipment management using the CMMS to ensure all assets are available in Pirana before landing on site.
  • Develop and maintain the PPM schedule using the knowledge of Engineers and OEM to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Ensure Stores is managed correctly and parts are fully stocked at all times.
  • Monthly stock takes are up to date.
  • Report the departmental KPI’s to the engineering management team. Including but not limited to PPM compliance, Work order adherence, MTBF, MTTR, work order by damage code.
  • Support the engineering management team with the annual group engineering audits.
  • Identify spare part cost saving initiatives to deliver OEE improvements.
  • Develop and manage 5S routines for the Engineering Stores.
  • Ensure annual cycle counting is completed at in Engineering Stores.
  • Ensure purchase orders are raised and receipted in a timely manner to support R&M accuracy.
  • Support the engineering team with management of contractors when necessary.
