You will ensure processes are aligned to regulatory, customer, and internal standards, while driving adoption, efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering teams. You will act as the focal point for process governance, working closely with engineering, quality, and programme stakeholders to embed best practices and improve delivery outcomes.

- Ensure engineering processes align with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards
- Lead deployment, communication, and training of engineering processes across teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lessons learned, root cause analysis, and performance data
- Collaborate with discipline leads to streamline workflows, remove inefficiencies, and embed best practices
- Maintain process documentation, templates, and guidance materials
- Monitor and report on process adherence and performance using KPIs, audits, and metrics
- Act as the central point of contact for process-related queries, escalations, and governance decisions
- Support programme teams in adopting consistent, traceable, and audit-ready engineering practices

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
