Engineering & Programme Manager
The Engineering & Programme Manager will lead the Engineering function, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from customer brief through to production. Working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality, you will drive collaboration, manage resources, and implement the processes needed to support a high-performing and scalable business.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from concept through to production release.
- Manage engineering resources, priorities, and project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and risk management activities.
- Drive programme governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support supplier engagement and technical reviews.
- Improve engineering processes, documentation, and design governance.
- Oversee quality activities across incoming inspection, production, and final release.
- Act as the key interface between Engineering and other business functions.

Requirements
- Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing engineering teams and delivering New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- A strong understanding of precision engineering and machining processes.
- Experience with quality assurance systems and continuous improvement activities.
- Knowledge of CAD systems, engineering drawings, and PDM systems.
- Experience with project management, resource planning, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
