What You'll Be Doing

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with a strong background in construction and facilities management to join our growing team. Based in Nottingham, this role will manage a variety of projects across the UK, ensuring delivery safely, on time, and within budget.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of complex, multi-discipline projects, often delivered in live operational environments, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction and FM projects from planning through to completion and handover.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and programme requirements.
  • Deliver projects safely and efficiently within live operational environments, minimising disruption to client activities.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, and site activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Drive performance to achieve client satisfaction, quality outcomes, and value for money.
  • Provide strong leadership and communication across all stakeholders and disciplines.

What You'll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

  • Experience with project management within the construction or facilities management sector.
  • Experience delivering complex projects in live operational environments.
  • Excellent partner engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and project budgets.
  • Experience with CDM regulations and possession of SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) desirable.
  • PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification advantageous.
  • RICS qualification
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Legionella awareness
  • LOLER awareness
  • Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving licence.
