Project Manager – Food Manufacturing

Food Manufacturing Experience - Essential!

If you’re an experienced Project Manager who enjoys seeing a project through from initial concept to completion, this could be a very good opportunity.

We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer that continues to invest heavily across its site, with a healthy project pipeline, strong budgets and plenty of scope for someone to make a real impact.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be managing small projects and chasing paperwork. You’ll be responsible for delivering significant capital projects, often £1m+ in value, across a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of projects from initial scoping and business case through to installation, commissioning, and handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects with budgets of £1m+
  • Developing project plans, budgets, timelines, and delivery strategies
  • Managing project spend and ensuring budgets are controlled effectively
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver against business objectives
  • Managing contractors, suppliers, and external partners throughout project delivery
  • Supporting procurement, tendering, and contractor selection
  • Managing project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Coordinating engineering, operations, technical, and other internal teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standard
  • Providing regular updates to senior stakeholders and reporting on project progress
  • Supporting commissioning, handover, and post-project review

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What’s On Offer?

This is a business that continues to invest, so you’ll have plenty to get your teeth into rather than spending your time managing the same projects year after year.

You’ll have access to strong project budgets, a varied project pipeline, and genuine scope to influence how projects are delivered.

On top of the salary, there’s a generous benefits package including a bonus, along with the opportunity to join a stable, well-established manufacturer with long-term investment plans.
