Engineering Project Manager
Concept Projects Group is looking for a proactive and motivated Engineering Project Manager to join our project team.
This is an engineering-focused project management role, supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary projects across client sites. The successful candidate will manage projects from planning through to delivery, including timelines, budgets, risk management, feasibility work, stakeholder coordination and reporting.
This role would suit someone with strong project management experience, a technical or engineering background, and the confidence to work with clients, internal teams and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Taking ownership of risk management and mitigation planning
- Conducting assessments to provide clients with engineering improvements
- Collaborating on feasibility studies with client teams
- Forecasting budgets and generating CAPEX
- Developing detailed project plans with projected outcomes and contingency planning
- Ensuring delivery to regulatory standards and best practice
- Coordinating work with client teams, project team members and key stakeholders
- Ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets
- Managing change requests affecting project deliverables
- Ensuring projects deliver the expected outcomes and benefits

Skills and experience required
- Preferably educated to degree level in an engineering setting, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and results-driven approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Flexibility to travel across mainland UK based on client requirements

Desirable
- IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with APM or PRINCE2 methodology
What we offer
- £40,000 to £50,000 per year, depending on experience
- Company bonus
- Full-time contract
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after probation period
