Purpose and Mission
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team to deliver engineering excellence and successful project execution, while driving innovation through R&D initiatives.

- Provide technical leadership to engineers, project managers, and project engineers.
- Ensure resource planning for both technical and project execution teams in collaboration with Operations.
- Champion continuous improvement and technical governance across all projects.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering and project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Oversee technical input for bids and project execution.
- Drive R&D projects to support innovation and future growth.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, technical risk management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and technical documentation.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore or complex engineering systems (mooring background ideal).
- Proven track record in technical leadership roles managing multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Knowledge
- Decisive and action-oriented, with ability to streamline decision-making and maintain focus on priorities.
- Strong communication skills: able to explain decisions clearly and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within a large corporate structure.
Qualifications
- Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
