The Role: Engineering Quality and Delivery Manager
Responsible for delivering cabin products across the programme portfolio to contractual standards. Lead supplier relationships to drive quality and performance, agree defect rectification plans with suppliers and BA stakeholders, and manage key relationships across BA/IAG to ensure highest product quality

What You’ll Do
- Lead Product Delivery, ensuring successful delivery of cabin programmes to the SOW’s, on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive Supplier Performance, build strong relationships with suppliers to enforce quality and product standards.
- Partner with internal teams to implement remedial plans for product quality issues.
- Oversee technical requirements and maintain control of all quality and delivery metrics.
- Identify issues, find innovative solutions and negotiate acceptance criteria for aircraft purchases, securing contractual commitments.
- Act as On-Site Focal Point, representing British Airways with world-wide cabin suppliers on all technical and delivery matters.
- Deliver on-site technical expertise aligned with safety, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
- Champion Process Improvement, identify and support simplification and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and initiate necessary actions to reduce repetitive build defects.
- Track in-service technical performance, ensure corrective actions are included in new product delivery
- Liaise with Programme Team and IAG Group Investment to secure commitments beyond delivery

What You’ll Bring To British Airways
- STEM degree/recognised apprenticeship or equivalent Engineering experience - Essential
- High degree of business awareness - Essential
- Experience of working in project teams - Desirable
- Experience of managing colleagues and associates - Desirable
- Experience of supplier management - Desirable
- In depth cabin product and material knowledge gained through considerable hands-on or equivalent experience - Desirable
- Minimum 5 years technical experience - Essential
