Engineering Delivery & Readiness Coordinator - Contract

We're working on a confidential, retained search for an Engineering Delivery & Readiness Coordinator to join a PE-backed, global payments technology business as it moves to a cloud-first operating model.

This is a genuinely hands-on role. You won't be running status reports from the sidelines - you'll be in the detail with engineering, platform, security and QA teams, making sure every application and workload is actually ready to migrate, cut over, and go into hypercare, not just marked "green" on a tracker.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating engineering readiness across assigned applications, platforms and migration move groups.
  • Validating technical evidence - remediation, environment readiness, connectivity, monitoring, testing, runbooks - before migration approval, not taking it on trust.
  • Working across Engineering, Cloud Platform, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, QA, Operations and an external migration partner.
  • Challenging readiness and recommending delays where the evidence isn't there - and being heard.
  • Feeding clear, technically-grounded input to programme leadership without owning overall programme governance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
