Expleo is seeking an Engineering Release Specialist

Expleo is seeking an Engineering Release Specialist to support a key automotive customer at their Gaydon site on a contract basis through to the end of the year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative Release Operations team, responsible for the construction, release, and maintenance of Bills of Material (BoM) across multiple vehicle lines and manufacturing locations.

As an Engineering Release Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely BoM releases, directly impacting vehicle build quality and manufacturing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a timely and accurate release of Bills of Material (BoM) from Product Engineering to internal and external stakeholders
  • Interpret and analyze documentation and collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure correct BoM construction
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of part usage and coding logic to support scheduling and vehicle build requirements
  • Act as a focal point for customers and suppliers at commodity level, ensuring accuracy and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing stakeholders, maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • Manage workload effectively to meet programme timing, key milestones, and departmental targets
  • Support Early BoM, file setup, and validation events
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Provide support and cover for colleagues across teams where required
  • Carry out any additional duties as requested by line management
