This is what you’ll actually do!

You’ll lead and inspire a small team of engineers and technical operatives, creating a culture that puts safety, reliability, and performance first. Day to day, you’ll make sure maintenance activity is prioritised and delivered effectively — reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and keeping operations running smoothly. You’ll take ownership of analysing top operational losses, using Root Cause Analysis and A3 problem-solving to identify practical, sustainable solutions. From there, you’ll implement reliability improvement initiatives that make a measurable difference on site. A key part of your role will be supporting the deployment of TPM and Autonomous Maintenance, helping to embed standards and develop capability within the team. You’ll coach and grow your people — building skills, engagement, and accountability so they can perform at their best. You’ll also support the standardisation and continuous improvement of engineering processes, contribute to capital and automation projects locally, and collaborate with wider FFG Engineering colleagues to share best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
