Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Buildings

Location

This role will be primarily based at our Botanica Ditton Park site. We are planning to relocate to Botanica Ditton Park from January 2027. Until then, the role will be based at our current Farnborough office.

About the Role

As an Engineering Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in keeping our Customer Support Service Operations (CSSO) running smoothly by ensuring the right engineers are deployed at the right time. Working as part of a collaborative and customer-focused team, you'll help deliver an exceptional service experience across our service account base.

You will be a key member of the team, coordinating daily operations to support our service account base. This includes call handling, dispatching engineers, and managing customer enquiries, alongside essential administration and support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and dispatch engineers for reactive fault calls and planned maintenance activities, ensuring customer commitments and service level agreements are met.
  • Assist with the planning and dispatch of engineers for both fault calls and planned maintenance works.
  • Ensure all service activities are completed within required timeframes, including invoicing, goods receipting, and checking engineering documentation.
  • Act as a professional point of contact for customer enquiries and serve as an initial point of escalation to resolve issues as required.
  • Raise purchase requisitions for parts, subcontractors, or equipment hire, and liaise with both internal and external partners.
  • Ensure Risk and Method Statements (RAMS) are up to date, making minor changes as necessary for management review and approval.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Support Team Leader and the wider team to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
