Engineering Services Manager – Facilities Management

City of London | £80,000–£82,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Services Manager to join a leading global Facilities Management provider, overseeing engineering services within a prestigious corporate headquarters in the City of London.

This Engineering Services Manager will take responsibility for the technical and operational performance of the site, leading an established engineering team of approximately 20 engineering staff across shift and day operations. You'll provide technical leadership, drive compliance and service standards, and build strong relationships with a demanding, high-profile client.

The successful Engineering Services Manager can come from either an Electrical or Mechanical background but must have proven experience managing engineering teams within commercial Facilities Management. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of engineering services at an exceptionally well-maintained landmark building in the City of London.

Requirements

  • Electrical or Mechanical engineering background with relevant technical qualifications
  • Strong commercial building services experience
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and critical building infrastructure
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience operating and managing critical engineering systems, with a strong understanding of HV/LV electrical infrastructure, switching procedures, isolations and safe systems of work.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety and engineering best practice
  • Experience within corporate or high-profile commercial environments desirable
