Job Description

In a nutshell, we use our engineering expertise to protect and build the services of today and tomorrow, for our customers - around the clock and wherever they are – and we need you to help us do this.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the following 3 areas – power, radio & electronics to create a fluid, monthly plan of work in line with demand owners forecasts and capacity within the field. Making use of effective reports and systems to undertake RCA and Jeopardy management.
- Proactively raise awareness of mis-balance in demand to forecast and agree corrective action with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify performance concerns and work with team and/or alone to undertake structured problem solving to continuously improve Plan performance and accuracy.
- Building collaborative relationships and keeping key stakeholders and customer informed to ensure plan accuracy and priorities are met.
- Align supply to deliver loaded plan:
- Supply moves
- Shrinkage management
- Planned overtime allocation
- WTR mitigation
- Proactively drive plan delivery
- Resolve simple fluidity issues (i.e. engineer assist, on the day access)
- Receive & resolve escalations
- Escalate delivery issues into field Delivery
- Provide delivery updates to programme team

Key skills:
- Be conversant with the latest Microsoft packages.
- Experience in being able to provide insight and analysis utilising different data sources.
- Understanding of Technology systems and how they link together including engaging with ASG teams to proactively rectify issues before/as they arise. (fos / swdt / wfmt / field schedule )
- The ability to actively participate in the development and implementation of best practice solutions that enables continuous improvement.
- To be able to confidently participate and facilitate both virtual and face to face meetings.
