How the role will make an impact:
The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and will work with product engineering, maintenance, operations, divisional engineering teammates, and outside equipment manufacturers to ensure new/existing equipment development projects are successful.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Direct and monitor all activities relating to manufacturing operations, equipment, and processes.
- Oversee design and development of equipment with the highest degree of quality and longevity competitively to OEM suppliers.
- Multiple project-level activities in the areas of Plant/Machinery improvements.
- Existing equipment modification, enhancement, and testing.
- Manage and present design proposals for discussion and evaluation with management.
- Evaluates cost recommendations concerning project-level design activity and equipment/tooling projects.
- Establish and communicate clear and measurable expectations of performance and provide frequent feedback to ensure the achievement of goals and personal development for employees.

Key Skills:
- Proven experience of supervision and/or project leadership experience required in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent electrical/mechanical aptitude and experience of high-speed machinery.
- Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
