Location: Heathrow
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 7am - 4pm
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage the day-to-day delivery of hard services and building fabric maintenance within a busy airport terminal.
Working closely with the client and leading a team of 11, you will ensure engineering activities are allocated effectively, completed safely and delivered within agreed timescales.
Role Responsibilities
- Supervise engineering staff, allocate workloads, and monitor performance.
- Manage hard services and building fabric maintenance activities.
- Ensure work is completed in line with KPIs, health and safety requirements, and Mitie's Quality Management System.
- Build strong working relationships with the client and attend approval meetings.
- Manage subcontractors and audit completed work orders.
- Review quotations, challenge costs, and order required materials.
- Approve team holidays and overtime.
- Produce operational reports using the client's CAFM system.
- Support ad hoc projects as requested by the Account Manager.

- A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
- Previous experience supervising or leading an engineering team.
- Strong organisational, communication, and client-facing skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and deliver work within agreed timescales.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide and support a team.
