As we continue to grow across Europe, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor (EMEA) to lead field engineering operations across the UK, Ireland, and Central Europe, ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability, safety, and service excellence.

Your mission

As Engineering Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day leadership to our Field Service Engineering team, driving equipment uptime, operational consistency, and engineering performance across multiple sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring fast response to breakdowns, maintaining engineering standards, and supporting the continued scalability of our EMEA operations.

What you will be doing

Lead Field Engineering Operations

  • Lead and coordinate Field Service Engineers across multiple countries and sites
  • Prioritize resources and workloads based on operational needs and equipment risk
  • Foster accountability, ownership, and high performance across the team

Drive Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Excellence

  • Oversee reactive and preventive maintenance activities
  • Ensure rapid response and resolution of critical equipment failures
  • Monitor and improve equipment uptime, MTTR, and service efficiency
  • Support business continuity through reliable engineering execution

Manage Escalations & Incident Resolution

  • Lead structured downtime escalation processes
  • Provide clear visibility and follow-up on major equipment breakdowns
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues

Ensure Engineering Standards & Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company SOPs, and engineering best practices
  • Standardize engineering execution across EMEA sites
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture

Develop Team Performance

  • Track performance through KPIs including response time, fix rate, uptime, and service quality
  • Coach and mentor engineers to support technical and professional development
  • Identify training needs and build team capability

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to reduce repeat failures and improve maintenance processes
  • Partner with Project & Automation Engineering teams on equipment upgrades, standardization initiatives, and design improvements
  • Support data-driven decision making to enhance operational performance

Collaborate with Key Stakeholders

  • Act as the main engineering interface between Operations, Engineering Leadership, suppliers, and contractors
  • Communicate equipment status, risks, priorities, and ongoing issues effectively across the business

What makes you a strong fit

  • Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, automation, logistics, or complex operational environments
  • Previous experience leading field-based, regional, or multi-site engineering teams
  • Strong technical expertise in industrial equipment maintenance, automation systems, conveyors, wash systems, and fault-finding
  • Proven experience in preventive and reactive maintenance management
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions in fast-paced operational environments
  • Strong communication skills with experience interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA as required
