Engineering Supervisor (Pumps / Water Infrastructure)

£45,000 - £50,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Training + Progression + Free Parking Company Benefits

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Are you an experienced Engineer with a background in pumps, water infrastructure or mechanical engineering, looking to take the next step into a technical leadership role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established pump installation and servicing business with around 60 employees and multiple branches across Scotland and the North of England. The company delivers engineering solutions across water infrastructure, oil & gas and commercial sectors, working with a diverse range of clients.

In this role, you'll be the key technical point of contact for the engineering workforce and subcontractors, ensuring works are organised, managed and delivered to a high standard. You'll work closely with the Service Co-ordinator, Workshop Supervisor and wider engineering team to maximise productivity, maintain safety standards and resolve technical issues.

The Role:

  • Acting as the key technical contact for engineers and subcontractors
  • Organising and managing small works through to successful completion
  • Reviewing service sheets and ensuring quotes or client issues are raised promptly
  • Supporting engineers with technical problems and troubleshooting
  • Working closely with the Service Co-ordinator and Workshop Supervisor
  • Reviewing training requirements and ensuring technicians maintain appropriate qualifications

The Person:

  • HNC qualified or experience in a similar engineering role
  • Engineering background within pumps, water, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Able to read and understand service sheets and technical documentation
