Engineering Team Lead (.Net Azure React) London / WFH
Are you an experienced Engineering Leader with a track record of building high performance teams?
You could be progressing your career in a hands-on Engineering Team Lead role at a hugely successful and scaling FinTech.
As an Engineering Team Lead you'll build and lead a high performing, healthy engineering team, taking ownership of quarterly delivery objectives, the development of your direct reports and the day-to-day culture that enables great engineering work.
You'll remain hands-on technically, but your biggest impact will come through your people and what the team delivers. You'll provide mentorship and constructive feedback, remove blockers, manage performance and advocate for your engineers through calibration and promotion processes. You'll build a team that can operate effectively and sustainably without relying on you to solve every problem.
Collaborating with Product, QA and Technical Leaders, you'll align the team around strategy, priorities and execution, while maintaining clear communication across remote, hybrid and in-person environments. You'll proactively identify and manage delivery, technical and people risks, ensuring challenges are addressed before they become blockers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
