Shift: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights
Job Role of the Engineering Team Leader
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Team Leader to join a market-leading heavy industrial manufacturing business that continues to invest in its people, engineering function, and production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to play a key role in driving reliability, supporting continuous improvement, and leading a well-established engineering team.
The successful Engineering Team Leader will split their time between hands-on maintenance and leading the shift engineering team, ensuring plant reliability, supporting production, and driving engineering standards across the site.

- Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent).
- Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Manufacturing background.
Requirements for the Engineering Team Leader
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience.
- Experience carrying out reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance.
- Previous experience leading or supervising an engineering team.
- Experience working on industrial plant and production machinery.
- Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis experience.
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical equipment.
Desirable Requirements for the Engineering Team Leader
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Physically fit and able to work within a demanding industrial environment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Food, FMCG, Agricultural, or Heavy Industrial manufacturing experience.
