A global manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Team Leader to join the team at their growing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset as a hands-on engineering team leader in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. It's a very exciting time to join the team, and the business is looking for a motivated individual with a track record of working to high standards, leading and developing teams.
Role Description
- To Manage and Prioritize breakdowns ensuring that all work is carried out quickly and effectively.
- To coordinate the work of engineers, ensuring all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
- Assist in the Performance management of the team.
- To ensure the achievements of the Engineering KPIs and targets are met.
- Mentor and support the team.
- Assist in the development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow.
- To ensure all company procedures and rules are adhered to and issues are dealt with fairly, promptly, and consistently.
- To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe.
- Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
- Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.

Skills and Qualifications
- Good Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Knowledge gained within an FMCG environment.
- Time Served, NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering Qualifications.
- Self-managed and able to influence others to gain their maximum performance.
- Experience with projects is highly advantageous.
- Good communication, IT, and engineering maintenance systems skills.
