Looking to get into the booming rail sector? Have experience in Rolling Stock or another Vehicular industry, Ex Forces? Do you have supervisory Experience? Looking for Days only?
We require a Engineering Team Leader to work for a Rail engineering company in Bristol, supervising the successful maintenance of Rail assets.
The role has a basic salary of circa £46,500 pa for working Monday to Friday Days
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency and quality output for the effective maintenance of rail assets as per work instructions
- Ensuring the compliance of the teams working to work instructions
- Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient work programmes are implemented and the resolution of technical problems
- Assisting the training department in the development of Team members
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff
- Mentoring and coaching of Team Members
- Ensuring locations are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles

ROLE CRITERIA
- Level 3 or equivalent Mechanical and/or Electrical Experience/Qualifications
- Rolling Stock experience (Desirable)
- Some form of vehicular maintenance experience such as Aerospace, RAF, REME, Army, Navy, Heavy automotive etc
- Experience of Team leading/Supervising medium sized teams
