Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire Contract: 4 on 4 off (days & nights – 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

With significant investment transforming our site into one of the most advanced dairy facilities in the UK, we’re now expanding our engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modern manufacturing—combining cutting-edge technology, large-scale automation, and ongoing site transformation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability
- Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades
- Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality, and performance
- Supporting the installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment

What You’ll Be Working With
Highly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systems High-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technology Multi-axis robotic packaging systems One of the UK’s largest pallet cooling and transport systems
Site-wide infrastructure, including:
- Combined Heat & Power (CHP)
- Advanced compressed air systems
- Sustainability and recycling technologies
What We’re Looking For
- A time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Experience working with automation, robotics, or process equipment (desirable)
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A team player committed to high safety and performance standards
What You’ll Get in Return
- £57,289 salary plus 1.5x overtime
- £5,000 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of probation)
