Engineering Technician Opportunity in Gloucestershire
A great opportunity is available at an innovative medical device company in Gloucestershire! Chroma are searching for an experienced Engineering Technician to join their growing R&D team.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is someone with previous experience working with electro-mechanical products, with strong hands-on skills in testing. As part of the R&D team, you’ll work closely with the engineers on:
- Using a range of test equipment
- Fault finding to component level
- Supporting the construction and modification of prototypes and test equipment

Experience producing basic engineering reports and documentation will also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Use a range of test equipment
- Fault finding to component level
- Support the construction and modification of prototypes and test equipment
- Produce basic engineering reports and technical documentation
Requirements
- HNC / Degree or relevant qualification in engineering
- Engineering background
- Electronics or mechanical background
- Experience using a range of test equipment for product and component verification
- R&D testing
- Experience working with electronic/electro-mechanical products
- Experience producing engineering reports and basic technical documentation
