Help shape the future of Engineering at Aston Martin.
At Aston Martin, we’re known for crafting some of the most iconic performance cars in the world, but behind every great car is a world-class team constantly pushing the boundaries of how we design, develop, and deliver.
We’re expanding our Engineering team to include a sharp, strategic, and forward-thinking Engineering Transformation Lead, someone who’s not just a planner, but a doer. A changemaker with a passion for improving how Engineering functions at its core.
This role is all about leading projects that make a real impact, identifying what’s not working, imagining what could, and driving transformational change across processes, people, and performance.
You’ll be at the heart of modernising and transforming our Engineering function, from big-picture strategy to hands-on project delivery:
- Lead transformation projects from idea through to execution and successful handover
- Shape and manage the Engineering transformation roadmap in line with our strategic goals
- Set the structure, governance, and cadence for how transformation projects are delivered
- Partner with the Engineering leadership team to identify improvement opportunities
- Establish and lead cross-functional workstreams (Engineering, Finance, HR, Strategy and more)
- Provide leadership, structure and direction on organisational change
- Communicate transformation updates across all levels of the business, including Execs
- Support our CTO with the rollout of long-term Engineering strategies
- Help shape the future Engineering organisation design, structure and capability

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
