Engineers in Action Graduate Programme – Wave 10 | United Kingdom

Launch your engineering career with METLEN in the UK

At METLEN, we believe the future is built through action, innovation, and responsibility. With operations in more than 40 countries across five continents, we deliver major projects that support the global energy transition.

Following the successful launch of Engineers in Action in the UK, we are opening applications for the next cycle of our flagship graduate engineering programme.

Based in London or Newcastle

The programme offers early-career engineers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to high-impact renewable energy projects.

Your 12-month journey

As an Engineer in Action within M Renewables – Energy Transition, you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the development and delivery of international renewable energy projects.

Depending on the position, your work may include:

  • Engineering design and technical coordination
  • Project development and delivery
  • Construction and site-related activities
  • Project management and reporting
  • Renewable energy and energy storage projects
  • Collaboration with international technical and commercial teams

Some positions may require participants to work at a project site in Newcastle for most of the programme duration. Candidates should therefore carefully consider their availability for the relevant location before applying.

Who we are looking for

We welcome applications from engineering graduates with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Other related engineering disciplines

You should also have:

  • The right to work and reside in the United Kingdom
  • Availability to work from our London office or at the relevant project location
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work in a dynamic project environment

Selection journey

  • Virtual Speed Discussions: Meet METLEN professionals through short one-to-one virtual discussions
  • Onsite Assessment Centre: Take part in practical and collaborative activities at a designated event venue in London on Tuesday 24th of November 2026
  • Final Discussions and Offer: Successful candidates will receive a competitive employment offer to join the new wave, within December 2026
  • Programme Start: We are excited to welcome all successful candidates who will be part of this year’s Engineers in Action programme, mid/late January 2027
