IMPORTANT NOTES

ENGL 365 - 001 Costuming for the Theatre 1 (3 credits – CRN 3134)
Salary: $11,824
Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):
Applicants must be ABD or have the PhD in hand. Demonstrated research and teaching excellence in the area of theatre studies (costuming). Practical experience in making costumes for theatre productions and managing backstage wardrobes.
Course Schedule: August 31 to December 4, 2026, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:05 am to 11:25 am.
Course description: Introduction to costume-making for the theatre, covering fabrics, textiles and costume decoration.

Exigences de qualification pour l’enseignement (TQR):
Les candidats doivent être doctorants ou avoir obtenu leur doctorat. Ils doivent démontrer une excellence en recherche et en enseignement dans le domaine des études théâtrales (costumes). Une expérience pratique de la confection de costumes pour des productions théâtrales et de la gestion des costumes de scène est également requise.
Description du cours : Introduction à la confection de costumes pour le théâtre, couvrant les tissus, les textiles et la décoration des costumes.
Horaire du cours: du 31 août au 4 décembre 2026, les mardis et jeudis de 10 h 05 à 11 h 25.
