About the Role

To provide high-quality class cover across GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths, ensuring continuity of learning during periods of staff absence or when additional cover is required. To work closely with the Head of English and Maths and teaching staff to deliver engaging, purposeful learning that supports learners to develop their English and maths knowledge, skills and confidence. To provide targeted academic, motivational and pastoral support to learners, helping to improve engagement, attendance, progress and achievement. To support learners to prepare effectively for assessments and examinations, including through additional revision sessions, workshops and clubs, and to signpost learners to appropriate college support services where required.
