All Together Education is recruiting a Curriculum Leader of English for a school in Aylesbury.

This opportunity would suit an experienced English teacher ready to take the next step into leadership, or an established subject leader looking for a new challenge.

You will lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum, support colleagues and promote high standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead curriculum planning and development across English.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that support pupils of different abilities.
  • Support and develop colleagues through collaboration and sharing effective practice.
  • Use assessment to identify gaps in learning and inform teaching.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations across the department.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong experience teaching English.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management.
  • Leadership experience or evidence of readiness for a curriculum leadership role.
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching and improving pupil outcomes.
