English Graduate | Harrow | September 2026 - July 2027

Are you an ambitious English Graduate looking to gain invaluable school-based experience before pursuing teacher training? A high-achieving secondary school in Harrow is searching for a motivated English Graduate to join their English department from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an English Graduate to support students across KS3-KS5, working alongside outstanding teachers in a well-established department with a strong track record of academic success. Ideal for aspiring English Teachers, this English Graduate role will provide the experience and confidence needed to progress into teacher training.

English Graduate | Benefits

  • £460-£530 per week PAYE (term-time only).
  • Full-time contract from September 2026 to July 2027.

  • Support students across KS3, KS4, and KS5 during English lessons.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and small-group tuition to raise attainment.

English Graduate | Person Specification

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in English or a closely related subject from a leading UK university.
  • Passionate about education and inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
  • Aspiring English Teacher looking to gain meaningful classroom experience.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
