Role Description
The English Online Tutor role at YouLearnt is a remote position focused on delivering high-quality, live online English lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting interactive lessons
- Explaining English grammar and vocabulary
- Assessing learner progress
- Providing constructive feedback
The tutor will use YouLearnt’s virtual classroom tools for content sharing, quizzes, and communication, while maintaining accurate records of sessions and learner performance. The role also involves:

Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to tailor lessons to different proficiency levels.
- Experience in Online Tutoring, including effective use of virtual classroom tools and digital resources.
- Solid command of English Grammar and the ability to explain concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and active listening.
- Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) or formal training in education is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience teaching English online or in-person, ideally with diverse learner groups.
- Reliable internet connection, comfort with educational technology, and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans, foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment, and work independently in a remote setting.
