We’re hiring: Qualified ESOL Instructor

Humanise Solutions is looking for an experienced and fully qualified ESOL Instructor to support the delivery of an eight-week Life Skills and Employability Programme.

This is a hands-on delivery role supporting learners to improve their English language skills, confidence, independence and employability, while ensuring clear and measurable progress throughout the programme.

Working pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday
  • 9:30am – 5:30pm
  • Two cohorts per day
  • Four hours per cohort
  • Eight-week programme

Essential requirements:

  • Must be a qualified ESOL instructor
  • Must hold a recognised TEFL or CELTA qualification
  • Previous experience delivering ESOL to adult learners
  • Confident managing groups with differing levels of English
  • Strong organisational, administrative and reporting skills
  • Ability to monitor and evidence learner progress effectively

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging ESOL, life skills and employability sessions
  • Manage two learner cohorts per day
  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Complete accurate daily attendance registers
  • Manage learner bus fares and travel support through our transport portal
  • Monitor attendance, engagement and learner progression
  • Support learners to complete assessments and programme activities
  • Complete individual learner progress reports
  • Maintain accurate learner records and programme documentation
  • Provide regular progress information and reports for our client
  • Identify learners requiring additional support and put appropriate interventions in place
  • Work closely with the wider Humanise Solutions team to ensure consistently high-quality delivery and strong learner outcomes

We are looking for someone who combines excellent ESOL teaching with the ability to build relationships, motivate learners and manage the operational requirements of a commissioned programme.
