About the Role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join the team at Poltair School. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students, foster a love of English and support every learner to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will deliver a broad, balanced and engaging English curriculum, using assessment and student progress information to inform high-quality teaching and learning. They will contribute to curriculum development within the department, work collaboratively with colleagues and play an active role in the wider life of the school.

Alongside their classroom responsibilities, the postholder will act as a Form Tutor, supporting the progress, wellbeing and personal development of students. They will set high expectations for behaviour, participation and achievement, provide effective feedback and maintain strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is reflective, ambitious and committed to their own professional development. As part of CELT, the successful candidate will join a collaborative Trust that places professional learning at the heart of its work, with access to training, mentoring and development opportunities through the CELT Centre of Excellence.
